Overview
- The dedication is scheduled for Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. MST with a broadcast to all units in the Burley Idaho Temple district.
- After the services, the temple will be the seventh operating in Idaho and the Church’s 212th operating temple, as well as the first dedicated in 2026.
- President Dallin H. Oaks will be accompanied by Sister Kristen Oaks, Elder Steven R. Bangerter with Sister Susan Bangerter, and Elder K. Brett Nattress with Sister Shawna Nattress.
- The temple was announced on April 4, 2021, broke ground on June 4, 2022, and hosted a public open house from Nov. 6 to Nov. 22, 2025.
- The two-story, approximately 45,300-square-foot building on a 10.12-acre site features interior motifs reflecting Magic Valley farmland and open skies.
