President Murmu Joins Sai Baba Centenary in Puttaparthi as Health and Research Initiatives Launch

  • President Droupadi Murmu attended the special session at Prasanthi Nilayam, was received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and praised Sai Baba’s credo that service to mankind is service to God.
  • Murmu offered prayers at Sai Kulwant Hall and lit the Universal Torch of Peace, underscoring official recognition of the centenary designated as a state event in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Chief Minister Naidu launched the Sri Sathya Sai Tribal Women Health Care Programme, featuring telemedicine, screenings for anaemia and breast and cervical cancer, and safe drinking water support.
  • Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan delivered the keynote at SSSIHL’s 44th convocation, urging students to pair service with professional excellence, as the Sri Sathya Sai Bio Bank & Research Hub was virtually inaugurated.
  • The XI Sri Sathya Sai World Conference drew delegates from about 45 countries, with leaders including Devendra Fadnavis and Kambhampati Hari Babu lauding the Trust’s hospitals, water projects and value-based education; Naidu cited 7.5 lakh volunteers across more than 2,000 branches in 140 countries.
