- President Droupadi Murmu presented 71 Padma Awards, including 4 Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan, and 57 Padma Shri honours, during the ceremony on April 28, 2025, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
- Ajith Kumar, Shekhar Kapur, and Nandamuri Balakrishna were awarded the Padma Bhushan for their contributions to Indian cinema, while Pankaj Udhas was honoured posthumously in the same category.
