President Murmu Arrives in Vrindavan by Maharajas’ Express for Day-Long Temple Visit

A no-fly zone alongside a deployment of over 4,000 personnel secures Mathura for the presidential pilgrimage.

  • Murmu reached Vrindavan Road station at 10 am on the Maharajas’ Express and was received by state and local officials.
  • Her itinerary includes darshan at Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Nidhivan and Sudama Kuti in Vrindavan, and visits to Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the 500-year-old Kubja Krishna Temple in Mathura.
  • The special train is scheduled to depart from Mathura Junction in the evening for the return to Delhi.
