President Biden Undergoes Root Canal, Misses College Athlete Event

President Biden experienced dental pain in his lower right premolar over the weekend and underwent an initial root canal procedure on Sunday.
Biden had further discomfort on Monday morning and underwent a second root canal procedure to address the issue.
The root canal was performed by a specialty team from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at the White House.
Biden did not require general anesthesia for the procedure and did not invoke the 25th Amendment to temporarily transfer power to Vice President Harris.
Vice President Harris attended a College Athlete Day celebration at the White House in Biden's place due to his root canal.
