Preparations Underway for Ram Temple Consecration in Ayodhya

Uttar Pradesh government introduces electric buses, invites prominent figures, and sets up a tent city for the seven-day ceremony.

The consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will take place over seven days starting from January 16, with the deity of Lord Ram being consecrated on January 22.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the preparations for the ceremony and offered prayers at the Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi Temple.
In anticipation of high tourist footfall, the Uttar Pradesh government will introduce electric buses in Ayodhya from January 15, along with golf carts and e-rickshaws.
Several political leaders, industrialists, sportsmen, and celebrities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have been invited to the consecration ceremony.
A tent city has been set up for the event, complete with six tubewells, six kitchen houses, and a hospital with ten beds.
