Pregnant Woman Pushed From Moving Train After Resisting Sexual Assault in Tamil Nadu

The woman, traveling alone in a women's coach, was attacked by a man who attempted to sexually assault her before pushing her from the train.
The victim sustained fractures to her hand and leg, a head injury, and later suffered a miscarriage while undergoing treatment.
The accused, identified as Hemraj, is a habitual offender with a history of violent crimes, including a prior murder charge and two detentions under the Goondas Act.
Southern Railway has announced ₹50,000 in financial aid for the victim, while political leaders have called for stricter safety measures for women on public transport.
