Praveer Ranjan Assumes Charge as CISF Director General

  • A 1993-batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer with 32 years of service, he has served as DGP Chandigarh, Special Commissioner of Police (Crime & EOW) in Delhi, and DIG in the CBI.
  • Before his elevation he led CISF’s aviation security as Special Director General, and the force guards airports, nuclear and space installations, and key government facilities.
