Overview

• The barrage recorded inflow of 4,50,326 cusecs with outflow near 4.4 lakh cusecs and a surplus discharge of 4,38,288 cusecs on Wednesday evening.
• Canal off-takes totaled 24,076 cusecs, including 7,525 cusecs into the Krishna Eastern Main Canal, 4,513 cusecs into the Krishna Western Main Canal, and 12,038 cusecs through other canals, with no release to the Guntur Channel.
• Five SDRF teams are stationed at the Vijayawada ghats as police, irrigation and municipal staff enforce barricades and warning boards during Dasara pilgrim activity.
• APSDMA earlier reported Krishna flows at 4.11 lakh cusecs and said levels may rise further toward 4.50 lakh cusecs.
• Srisailam stood at 93.62% of storage, Nagarjuna Sagar at 97.07%, and Pulichintala at 78.26%, with regulated releases contributing to strong downstream inflows.
