• After his life sentence on August 2 for raping a domestic help, Revanna was formally registered as Prisoner No. 15528 at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison on August 3.
• A special court imposed a life term and an Rs 11.50 lakh fine, of which Rs 11.25 lakh is directed to the victim.
• Under prison rules, he may work eight-hour, six-day shifts for up to Rs 540 a month, though he has yet to receive his first assignment.
• Daily routines include a 6:30 am wake-up, a rotating breakfast menu, set meal times and a 6:30 pm lockdown.
• He is entitled to two 10-minute phone calls and one in-person visit per week as he pursues an appeal in the Karnataka High Court.
