Pradhan to Inaugurate IIM Ahmedabad’s Dubai Campus as IndiaUAE Education Push Accelerates

The move creates the first overseas campus for an Indian Institute of Management following the rollout of an Atal Incubation Centre at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi.

  • IIM Ahmedabad’s Dubai site is described as the first global campus by an IIM, reflecting India’s policy drive to globalize premier institutions.
  • Pradhan inaugurated the first-ever overseas Atal Incubation Centre at IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus, which is intended to nurture joint start-ups and research-led ventures in areas such as deep tech, clean energy, AI and healthcare.
  • New B.Tech and Ph.D. programmes in chemical engineering and in energy and sustainability were launched at IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi to build research and industry-ready talent.
  • Talks with ADEK chairperson Sara Musallam advanced plans for more Indian curriculum schools in the UAE and two-way student exchanges, with additional engagements including Atal Tinkering Labs launches, a higher-education roundtable and community outreach.
