- Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is on a two‑day visit to the UAE from September 10–11 to advance collaboration in education, innovation and knowledge exchange.
- At IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi, he inaugurated the first overseas Atal Incubation Centre and launched new PhD and B.Tech programmes.
- Pradhan met ADEK chair Sara Musallam and discussed expanding Indian curriculum‑based schools in the UAE and introducing Atal Tinkering Labs in Indian schools.
- On September 11, he will co‑inaugurate IIM Ahmedabad’s Dubai campus with UAE Higher Education Minister Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, which reports describe as the first offshore campus by an IIM.
- IIM Ahmedabad’s Dubai venture involves an agreement under which the institute provides academic and training expertise while UAE partner BRS Ventures delivers infrastructure, industry links and logistics.
