Overview
- India’s education minister is in the UAE from September 10–11 for meetings with leaders, policymakers and institutions to advance collaboration in education, innovation and knowledge exchange.
- On September 10, he is scheduled to meet ADEK chairperson Sara Musallam in Abu Dhabi.
- At IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi, he will inaugurate an Atal Incubation Centre—the first foreign centre—and launch PhD and B.Tech programmes.
- On September 11, he will co-inaugurate the IIM Ahmedabad Dubai Campus with UAE Higher Education Minister Abdulrahman Al Awar and hold talks on ongoing sector partnerships.
- The programme includes a roundtable of Indian higher-education institutions, a Teachers’ Day interaction with CBSE principals, Atal Tinkering Labs launches, a plantation drive at the consulate, community events and a diaspora meet in Dubai.
