Prada's Second Iteration of Pradasphere Exhibition Opens in Shanghai

Curated by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the exhibition showcases the brand's history and aims to double its business in China.

  • Pradasphere II, the second iteration of Prada's itinerant exhibition, has officially opened in Shanghai at the Start Museum, a private museum located along the city's West Bund cultural corridor.
  • The exhibition, curated by Prada's co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, documents the brand's 110 years of history and its engagement with art, architecture, culture, and sport.
  • The exhibition features a selection of around 200 looks from Prada's 30 years of ready-to-wear history, chosen by Raf Simons.
  • Prada's heritage is displayed in two galleries that branch off from the main corridor, and the exhibition also features a collaboration with artist Damien Hirst.
  • Prada's CEO, Gianfranco D’Attis, revealed that the brand aims to double its business in China in the mid-term future.
