• Emergency services were called at around 7:15pm on Saturday, August 30, to Barlow Moor Road in West Didsbury, where she was pronounced dead at the scene.
• Greater Manchester Police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
• Manchester Coroners’ Court has received a file and will open an inquest on September 23.
• Higgins co-founded Northern Quarter–based Carousel PR in 2011 and ran the agency with her husband, Gawen, leading a team of more than 20.
• Her family issued a statement confirming her death, calling her a beloved wife and respected business figure and requesting privacy.
