• At a PP event in Membrilla (Ciudad Real), Feijóo met for an hour with major agrarian organizations and announced a jointly drafted White Paper on rural development.
• He appointed MEP and former Andalusian agriculture chief Carmen Crespo to coordinate the effort, with Mercedes Morán, Milagros Marcos and Rosa Quintana leading specific areas.
• The party presented a ten-point program that promises less bureaucracy, a favorable agrarian tax regime, automatic aid after floods or fires, greater competitiveness and a national water plan.
• A flagship measure proposes zero taxation on intergenerational farm transfers so family holdings can move from parents to children without a tax bill.
