Overview

  • After no winners on Friday, the jackpots stand at PowerBall R83 million and PowerBall Plus R69 million for Tuesday, 23 September.
  • The draw is set for 20:58 on Tuesday and will be broadcast live, with results posted on official National Lottery and ITHUBA platforms.
  • Tickets can be bought at licensed retailers, on the National Lottery app or website, via major banking apps, or by USSD at 1207529#.
  • A PowerBall entry costs R5 per board, PowerBall Plus adds R2.50 per board, and players pick five numbers from 1–50 plus a PowerBall from 1–20.
  • Winnings are paid tax‑free, and prizes of R50,000 or more include free trauma counselling and accredited financial advice; the PowerBall record is R232,131,750.69 set on 19 February 2019.
