- The National Weather Service kept a wind advisory in effect until noon Tuesday with morning gusts near 45 mph before conditions relax later in the day.
- BGE reported roughly 10,000 customers without power at 9 p.m. Monday and about 3,100 still out across more than 260 outages by 8 a.m. Tuesday after more than 14,500 restorations.
- The utility said most outages stemmed from trees and limbs damaging equipment, with crews working around the clock to complete hundreds of repair jobs.
