Overview

• Eight London-to-Paris departures were cancelled on August 4 and five of 18 Paris-to-London services were called off, with six more delayed by up to two hours.
• Routes between London and Brussels, London and Amsterdam, and Brussels and Amsterdam remained unaffected by the outage.
• TGV InOui and Ouigo trains are being diverted onto conventional lines, extending journey times by 30 minutes to as much as three hours.
• SNCF has deployed engineers to carry out major repairs on the high-speed link and advised travellers to postpone non-essential journeys.
• Eurostar has sent extra staff to stations and is allowing passengers impacted by the closure to swap tickets at no charge or claim full refunds.
