Poundland’s 25p Cadbury Selection Boxes Sell Out Online as Website Goes Browsing-Only

The move follows the retailer’s decision to end online ordering, sending shoppers to stores for festive deals.

Overview

  • Poundland briefly listed a 125g Cadbury festive selection box for 25p before it sold out online as the site shifted to browsing-only.
  • The box included Dairy Milk Little Bar, Wispa, Fudge, Crunchie, Freddo Caramel and Treatsize Buttons.
  • An identical selection box is priced at £2.50 at Iceland, highlighting the steep discount at Poundland.
  • With the website no longer taking orders since 16 September, customers must buy seasonal bargains in-store; the Perks app has been retired but unused vouchers are valid in-store until 15 January 2026.
  • Poundland has rolled out its Christmas Food & Drink range, including KitKat and Haribo selection boxes, while continuing local restructuring with closures such as Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road on 28 September and Dundee’s Wellgate on 11 October.
