Pottermore and Audible Unveil Star-Studded Full-Cast Harry Potter Audio Editions

Production is nearing completion with pre-orders now open for the seven-book, immersive Dolby Atmos series.

Overview

  • Hugh Laurie voices Albus Dumbledore and Matthew Macfadyen plays Lord Voldemort alongside Riz Ahmed, Michelle Gomez and narrator Cush Jumbo, leading an ensemble of over 200 performers.
  • The unabridged productions boast Dolby Atmos soundscapes, original scoring, real-world effects and more than 2,000 recording hours logged to date.
  • Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry, Ron and Hermione in books 1–3, with Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan and Nina Barker-Francis taking over in books 4–7.
  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone launches on November 4, 2025, followed by monthly releases through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on May 12, 2026.
  • Additional supporting cast members will be announced this fall, and the classic Jim Dale and Stephen Fry single-narrator editions will remain available.
