Posthumous Marianne Faithfull EP 'Burning Moonlight' Announced

The four-track EP, recorded in the year before her death, reflects both her pop and folk roots and will be released on vinyl for Record Store Day in April.

Marianne Faithfull's family has announced the release of 'Burning Moonlight,' a posthumous four-song EP created in the final year of her life.
The EP includes two original songs, 'Burning Moonlight' and 'Love Is,' and two folk tracks, 'Three Kinsmen Bold' and 'She Moved Thru’ the Fair.'
'Burning Moonlight,' available for streaming today, is inspired by her debut single 'As Tears Go By' and explores themes of resilience and reflection.
The EP will be released as a limited-edition vinyl on April 12 for Record Store Day and digitally on June 6.
Produced by longtime collaborators, the project honors Faithfull's artistic legacy, drawing inspiration from her first two albums released in 1965.
