Possible Meteorite Strikes New Jersey Home, No Injuries Reported

A metallic object believed to be a meteorite crashed through the roof of a building in Hopewell Township, New Jersey.
The object was oblong in shape, approximately 10 x 15 centimeters, and appeared metallic.
No injuries were reported, and authorities are working to confirm the meteoric nature of the object.
The incident may be related to the Eta Aquariids meteor shower currently active in the night sky.
If confirmed as a meteorite, the space rock would be an extremely rare example of an intact meteor surviving the fiery journey through Earth's atmosphere.
