• Brian Eno’s Together For Palestine concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on September 17 featured more than 150 artists, streamed worldwide, and raised nearly £1.5 million for the Together For Palestine fund.
• Funds are to be distributed to Palestinian-led organisations including Taawon, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and the Palestine Medical Relief Service.
• Portishead reunited to pre-tape a live rendition of ‘Roads’ at Bristol’s Cube Microplex, their first performance since 2022, and have released the video that was screened at the event.
• Gorillaz performed with Yasiin Bey and Omar Souleyman, debuting ‘Damascus’ from the forthcoming Gorillaz album The Mountain.
• Annie Lennox shared her solo-piano take on ‘Why?’ and plans to release it as a benefit single for the Choose Love Together For Palestine fund, while speeches by figures including PinkPantheress, Richard Gere, Florence Pugh and Nicola Coughlan were featured.
