Port Vale FC Debunks Rumors of Robbie Williams' Takeover Bid

Despite his recent appointment as club president, the English singer-songwriter has not made a bid to purchase the club, according to an official statement.

Robbie Williams, English singer and songwriter, was made President of Port Vale football club on January 27, 2024.
Rumors circulated that Williams was preparing a bid to buy the club, but these were debunked by an official statement from Port Vale FC on January 31, 2024.
Williams has been a lifelong fan of Port Vale and even co-created the Soccer Aid charity football matches and played for Port Vale in a 2001 testimonial.
Williams also founded a US-based football team in 2005 called Los Angeles Vale.
Despite the rumors, the Shanahan family, owners of the club, remain fully committed to Port Vale FC.
