Port of Oakland Proposes Renaming to 'Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport'

Scheduled mid-July votes represent the next step in the Port’s rebranding campaign following last year’s court injunction.

Terminal 1 at Oakland International Airport (OAK) is home to Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, Arkefly, Delta, Hawaiian Air, JetBlue, SATA, Spirit Airways, US Airways, and Volaris. OAK, located at 1 Airport Dr, in Oakland, Calif., is about 10 miles south of downtown Oakland and across from San Francisco on the other side of San Francisco Bay.
