Overview

- Two Port Authority officers entered the luggage system within minutes and intercepted the child just before the X-ray scanner
- The rescue lasted under five minutes and ended when the toddler was found unharmed in the checked baggage room
- After being reunited with relatives from Staten Island, the family proceeded to their vacation in Tampa, Florida
