Simon Guobadia, estranged husband of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Porsha Williams, has been detained by ICE and is being held at Stewart Detention Center in Georgia.
Guobadia, a Nigerian native, has faced immigration challenges since overstaying his visa in the 1980s, with prior deportations and denied citizenship applications.
The detention comes shortly after President Donald Trump enacted a mass deportation plan during his second term in office.
Williams, who filed for divorce from Guobadia in February 2024 after 15 months of marriage, described the situation as 'disheartening' in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The couple has been embroiled in contentious legal disputes, including issues over their prenuptial agreement, marital assets, and a defamation lawsuit filed by Guobadia against Williams.
