Porsche Unveils Electric Cayenne Specs: 400 kW Charging, Over 1,000 PS

The newly disclosed design signals a bid to regain momentum through faster charging, expanded displays, active chassis.

Overview

  • The SUV carries a 113 kWh gross battery (about 108 kWh net) on an 800‑volt system, peaking at 400 kW DC with a 15–80% charge in just over 15 minutes and roughly 300 km added in 10 minutes.
  • The Turbo variant is reported at more than 800 kW/1,088 PS and up to 1,500 Nm with Launch Control, claimed to hit 0–100 km/h in under three seconds and reach about 270 km/h.
  • The pack uses 192 pouch cells in six modules with graphite‑silicon anodes and NMCA cathodes, delivering around 7% higher energy density than Taycan and integrating structurally at 11 cm height.
  • Inside, a new electronics architecture enables Porsche’s largest display area with third‑party apps, plus a passenger screen and an AR head‑up display.
  • The model debuts an active chassis with hydraulically interconnected dampers, fast e‑traction control responses, rear‑axle steering to an 11.1 m turning circle, towing up to 3.5 tonnes, and AC charging at 11 kW for now.
