Porsche Sales Slip 6% Through Q3 as Company Ends Factory WEC Program After 2025

The brand pivots to a value-over-volume approach as its electrified mix grows, led by the Macan Electric.

Overview

  • Porsche delivered 212,059 vehicles from January through September 2025, down 6% year over year, with electrified models reaching 35.2% of sales.
  • Macan remained the top seller at 64,783 units, up 18% year to date, and the Electric Macan accounted for just over half of those deliveries.
  • China stayed weak with 10,893 Q3 deliveries, down 21% year on year, nine-month sales fell 26%, and Germany declined 16% to 22,492 due partly to EU cybersecurity limits on certain 718 and Macan combustion models.
  • Porsche Cars North America reported 18,403 deliveries in Q3 and 57,099 for the first nine months, up 5.6% year to date, with the Macan leading Q3 at 6,599 units.
  • Porsche Penske Motorsport will cease its factory World Endurance Championship effort after 2025, retain an IMSA factory presence, continue Formula E development with a Gen4 99X for 2026/27, and keep customer racing programs unchanged.
