Porsche Previews Cayenne Electric Interior, Confirms 400 kW Charging and 113 kWh Battery

The flagship targets over 370 miles WLTP with four‑figure power.

Overview

  • The new Flow Display is a vertically curved OLED that splits viewing and control zones and anchors the largest display area ever fitted to a Porsche.
  • Cabin tech includes a standard 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster, an optional 14.9-inch passenger screen, and an augmented‑reality head‑up display with an effective 87‑inch image.
  • The battery uses a frame‑less, module‑to‑body design (113 kWh gross, 108 kWh net) with LG Chem cells, fewer modules for higher energy density, and easier serviceability via drop‑out replacements.
  • Peak DC fast charging is quoted at 400 kW with a 10–80% session in roughly 15–16 minutes and an estimated 186 miles of WLTP range added in 10 minutes; an ~11 kW inductive home charging pad will be offered.
  • Porsche positions the EV as a complement to existing petrol and hybrid Cayennes, with a full reveal due late 2025 and market launch in 2026, alongside claims of over 1,000 hp, up to 600 kW brake regeneration, towing up to 3,500 kg, and optional Active Ride suspension.
