Overview
- The GTS becomes the fifth Macan Electric variant and the first EV to wear Porsche’s GTS badge, positioned between the 4S and Turbo.
- Dual motors deliver 380 kW in normal output and up to 420 kW (about 563 hp) with Launch Control, good for 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds or 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a 155 mph top speed.
- Turbo-derived hardware includes a shared rear-axle motor, a 900-amp silicon-carbide inverter, and a performance-focused 9.0:1 transmission ratio.
- A 100 kWh battery supports peak DC charging up to 270 kW for a 10–80% charge in roughly 21 minutes, with WLTP range quoted up to 586 km.
- Chassis tuning features a 10 mm-lower sport air suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with an electronically controlled rear diff, a rear-biased 48:52 weight distribution, Track Endurance Mode, and optional rear-axle steering; GTS styling cues, Race-Tex trim, new colors, and pricing start at about $103,000 in the U.S., £89,000 in the U.K., and AU$171,100 in Australia.
