Porsche Launches All‑Electric Cayenne With Supercar Pace, Ultra‑Fast Charging

Orders are open now with deliveries expected to start in late summer 2026.

Overview

  • The launch lineup comprises two all‑wheel‑drive models—the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric—with the Turbo peaking at up to 850 kW and 1,500 Nm for 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, while the base model reaches 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
  • A new 113 kWh battery delivers WLTP ranges of up to 642 km (Cayenne Electric) and up to 623 km (Turbo), with DC fast charging up to 390–400 kW enabling a 10–80% charge in under 16 minutes.
  • The Cayenne Electric is Porsche’s first model to offer optional inductive wireless charging up to 11 kW and features energy recuperation up to 600 kW inspired by the brand’s Formula E program.
  • Interior technology debuts include a curved Flow Display OLED center screen, a 14.25‑inch digital cluster, an optional 14.9‑inch passenger display, an AR head‑up display, and an AI‑powered voice assistant.
  • U.S. MSRPs start at about $109,000 for the Cayenne Electric and $163,000 for the Turbo; the EVs will be sold alongside combustion and plug‑in hybrid Cayennes, and U.S. models include a NACS fast‑charging port with a CCS adapter.
