Porsche Introduces 911 GT3 R Evo for 2026 Customer Racing

Priced at €573,000, the Evo version builds on the proven Type-992 chassis with targeted aero, suspension, cooling refinements ahead of its 2026 race debut.

Overview

  • Porsche’s Evo retains the unchanged 4.2-litre flat-six engine and core drivetrain from the Type-992 GT3 R platform.
  • The new model carries a €573,000 base price excluding VAT and optional extras, plus around 60 retrofit kits for existing cars at €41,500 before tax.
  • Aerodynamic enhancements feature louvers on front wheel arches, a Gurney flap on the rear wing and revised suspension kinematics for improved braking stability.
  • Mechanical upgrades include fluid cooling for electro-hydraulic power steering, ceramic wheel bearings, modified centering pins and NACA ducts for driveshaft cooling.
  • Developed since August 2024 with tests at Weissach, Sebring, Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps and the Nürburgring, the Evo finished second overall in the Michelin 12-hour Spa in April.
