Overview
- The pontiff presides over his first Christmas Eve Midnight Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica on Dec. 24.
- He appealed for a pause in fighting during Christmas, asking that the feast be kept as a day of peace and pointing to the suffering in Ukraine.
