Pope León XIV to Bless Señor de los Milagros at St. Peter’s During Rome Procession on Oct. 18–19

  • The extraordinary procession in Rome is scheduled for Oct. 18–19, with the image entering St. Peter’s Square on Sunday morning, Oct. 19.
  • During the Jubilee of Hope 2025, Pope León XIV will preside at a canonization Mass and later offer a papal blessing during the Angelus after receiving the image.
  • The Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros de Roma is organizing the event with support from Peru’s embassy to the Holy See, the embassy in Italy, and the consulate in Rome.
  • Organizers plan an approximately three‑kilometre route and expect more than 700 participants serving as cargadores, sahumadoras and cantoras, alongside large crowds of devotees.
  • Delegations of Peruvian brotherhoods are slated to attend from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Spain, the United States, Italy, Peru, Sweden and Switzerland.
