Polygon Labs Adds Solana to Open Money Stack

Businesses can now connect bank rails, embedded wallets and cross‑chain settlement through a single programmable payments integration.

Overview

  • Polygon Labs announced Thursday that it has extended its Open Money Stack to support Solana so companies can plug a single API into bank funding, wallets, cross‑chain routing and payout channels.
  • The integration accepts bank inflows by ACH, cards and cash, converts funds to stablecoins, routes transfers between networks and sends payouts to banks, cards, cash points or crypto wallets.
  • Kira is among the first customers using the Solana connection to convert stablecoin transfers into U.S. dollars for supplier and cross‑border payments for fintechs, OTC desks and import brokers.
  • The rollout follows October additions that included TRON support and Polygon’s acquisition of Coinme, which brought 37 money‑transmitter licenses and FinCEN registration covering 48 U.S. states.
  • Polygon highlights settlement scale and options for enterprises by pointing to over $3 trillion on Polygon Chain and more than $5 trillion on Solana in 2026 and by offering public settlement or dedicated CDK rollups for firms needing tailored compliance and controls.
