'Poltergeist' House to Open as Spooky Airbnb Experience

The iconic horror film location in Simi Valley, California, is being transformed into a movie set-themed rental.

The 'Poltergeist' house sold for $1.28 million, surpassing the asking price by $100,000.
An investor from Los Gatos, California, purchased the home with plans to replicate the film's set for Airbnb guests.
The house features four bedrooms, a pool, a jacuzzi, and will be decorated to resemble the late '70s and early '80s suburban setting of the movie.
Despite high interest, the rental will not be available by Halloween as the owner aims to perfect the experience without rushing.
The house was the primary filming location for the 1982 horror classic and is located at 4267 Roxbury Street.
