- Tulchin Research surveyed 400 registered voters in six Times Square zip codes from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2 and found 67% oppose the casino proposed for 1515 Broadway, with 24% in favor and 9% undecided.

- Respondents cited expected harms, with 77% anticipating more crime, 75% predicting a worse quality of life, 74% foreseeing heavier traffic, and 73% expecting dirtier streets.
- Caesars Palace Times Square rejected the poll as biased and said participation in its public input process shows support for the project.
- The six-member Community Advisory Committee could vote as soon as this week and must act by Sept. 30, and 64% of those polled said they are less likely to back candidates who support the casino.
