Political Party Membership in NRW Surges Following Ampel Coalition Collapse

While most major parties in North Rhine-Westphalia report membership growth since November, overall trends remain mixed with some parties still shrinking.

• The Left Party in NRW grew by over 1,260 members in 2024, with a notable increase in young members, while the newly founded Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht reported 140 members in the state.
