Police Use Spike Strips to Stop Car Thief Fleeing on German Autobahn

After the car stopped, the suspect tried to escape on foot but was quickly apprehended by police.
The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident.
The suspect was taken into custody and placed in pre-trial detention on Saturday.
