Overview
- Devon and Cornwall Police said the sisters were last seen in Truro on Friday, August 14, and launched the appeal after they did not return.
- The missing girls are Summer, 14, and her sister Skye, 15, who are from West Cornwall.
- Officers believe the pair may be in the Redruth, Penryn or Falmouth areas and asked the public to contact police quoting reference 399 of 14/08/26.
- Police have warned they are increasingly concerned for the sisters' welfare and asked anyone with information to call 101 or 999 in an emergency.
- Reporters note a recent, separate operation in which Cornwall and Warwickshire police located two missing girls from Rugby and made arrests, a backdrop that has kept regional forces focused on missing-children searches.
