Overview

• A rickshaw and a London double‑decker collided in the West End shortly after 1 a.m. on August 25 at Charing Cross Road and Phoenix Street.
• Police say three men were taken to hospital, one was later discharged with minor injuries, and two others, aged 23 and 25, remain in hospital with serious injuries.
• London Ambulance Service deployed multiple crews, an advanced paramedic, a fast response car, an incident response officer and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
• Charing Cross Road was cordoned off overnight, with several night bus routes diverted toward Trafalgar Square while emergency teams worked at the scene.
