Overview

• Jagadgirigutta police arrested five men accused of stealing two-wheelers across KPHB, Borabanda, Allapur and Jagadgirigutta.
• The accused are Gollapally Sridhar, Midde Veera Kousik Goud, Katta Manikanta, Guthula Srinivas and Shaik Nagur Vali, a businessman from Guntur district alleged to be the receiver.
• Officers recovered 22 motorcycles, including high-end models, valued at about ₹42 lakh, according to Balanagar Division ACP P. Naresh Reddy.
• The investigation began after a software professional reported his bike stolen outside a Jagadgirigutta wine shop on August 24.
• Police intercepted Sridhar riding a motorcycle without a number plate, obtained a confession naming associates and linked the group to multiple cases, and all five were remanded to judicial custody.
