Overview

• The Federal Police launched a new phase of Operation Sem Desconto with 66 search-and-seizure warrants in seven states and the Federal District, including at Sindnapi; Frei Chico is not listed as a target, according to the PF.
• Sindnapi president Milton Baptista, known as Milton Cavalo, invoked an STF habeas corpus and declined to answer questions for most of his CPMI testimony.
• Documents from the CGU presented to the commission allege Sindnapi omitted Frei Chico's leadership role and sent a false declaration to secure the 2023 cooperation agreement, which could breach Law 13.019/2014.
