  • A preliminary breath test in Neustadt registered 2.51 ‰, leading police to confiscate the driver’s keys and license and order a blood sample.
  • On the A24 near Barsbüttel police stopped a 24-year-old Audi A6 driver who was weaving between lanes and detected an alcohol level of 1.94 ‰.
  • Further checks revealed the younger driver did not hold a valid license, prompting additional charges alongside the drunk driving case.
  • Both drivers now face formal charges for driving under the influence with the 24-year-old also charged for operating a vehicle without a license.
