Police Seek Witnesses After Hayes Crash Leaves Woman, 80, Critically Injured

The driver is assisting the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

  • An 80-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car on Reynolds Road in Hayes at 8:36am on Thursday, December 11.
  • The woman was taken to hospital and remained in a life-threatening condition as of Friday evening, December 12.
  • Police said the driver, a 20-year-old man, is cooperating with enquiries.
  • Detective Constable Rory Atkins appealed for witnesses as well as relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to help establish what happened.
