• The incident occurred Aug. 16 in the Pikes Peak Cog Railway parking lot after employees asked a couple who had walked through from the Manitou Incline to leave.
• Witness statements in an arrest affidavit say Blevins punched the employee in the head, while Blevins and his wife told police the employee struck him first; two witnesses told officers they did not see the worker hit Blevins.
• The victim, believed to be 66, remains hospitalized, and medical professionals cited in police records suspect a stroke or brain bleed; Blevins is due in court Friday for an advisement hearing.
