• Westchester County Police say three individuals landed a small boat on Playland Beach just before midnight on Sept. 23 and climbed a fence to enter the park.
• Investigators report the group ripped fiber-optic cables in an electrical room, compromising phone and internet service for park operations.
• Roughly 200 stuffed animals were taken from the park and carried away in garbage bags, according to police.
• Surveillance video also shows an unsuccessful attempt to push a portable photo booth off the boardwalk, and no arrests have been announced.
