  • A mass shooting in a Chatham parking lot late Saturday killed a 24-year-old man and wounded two others in a crowd of more than 100.
  • Officers found four shooting victims early Saturday on the 8200 block of South Houston Avenue, where a 20-year-old man later died at University of Chicago Hospital and three others were hospitalized.
  • Friday night in Lawndale, a 22-year-old man was shot to death outside the 2800 block of West Arthington Avenue by a suspect who fled on foot, and no arrests have been made.
  • In East Chicago’s Sunnyside area early Friday, ShotSpotter alerts led officers to learn a 27-year-old man had been dropped off at St. Catherine Hospital before dying at University of Chicago Hospital.
  • Chicago and East Chicago police have used ShotSpotter technology, hospital reports and public tip lines as they investigate six shootings with no suspects in custody.
